Some Messiahs deliver their Gospel, hang out for a long weekend & then leave the rest to the followers. The Lord Of The Lard calls on Ben Christo, Z.Marr, En Esch, Tim Skold, Marc Heal, Phil Barry, Mark Thwaite, Anita Sylph & Emre Ramazanoglu & gets to work on bringing glam to the damned. "Risen" is the unadulterated & driven sound of pure <PIG>, adorned only by the poetry Raymond Watts provides.

Unbelievable that these guys have been crushing bangers and inhaling them through an industrial facemask for 39 years, but yep. Maximum respect. Egg Wizard

I was pleasantly-surprised by this album. I was expecting something colder, slower, and ambient from what little I first heard before I bought it. Instead, it's not too unlike the later Mechanical Soul. There's elements of old and new FLA here, and there's parts of this that I rather like. I wouldn't mind more collab songs, for one, or for more flirting with other genres. Give me both vaporwave-y songs AND hardcore industrial dance. Rocket Verliden
